Event Rentals in Centennial, CO
Compare event rental options for Centennial and the south Denver metro, from tables, chairs and tents to party rentals, inflatables, photo booths and restroom trailers for park gatherings, HOA events and backyard celebrations.
Serving Arapahoe County and nearby communities.
Centennial is a contract city, so the rules for your event depend on who runs the ground you're on: the City's own Centennial Center Park, one of several park and recreation districts, or private property.

Popular Event Rental Needs in Centennial
How Centennial hosts use rentals, from pavilion parties to neighborhood events.
Bluff Pavilion & Shelter Parties
The Bluff Pavilion's nine picnic tables seat only part of a 100-person group. Rent extra tables and chairs, plus serving and gift tables, and plan carry-in delivery, since vehicles can't enter Centennial Center Park without a permit.
Explore Table & Chair RentalsShade Without Big Tents
Centennial Center Park allows shade awnings and umbrellas up to 25 square feet that leave with you. Anything larger needs a City permit and must be weighted rather than staked; in a district park or on private property, ask about the fire district's 400-square-foot line.

HOA picnics and block parties often combine a street closure or district park with tables, canopies and games. Submit the City's street closure request three weeks ahead and line up MUTCD-compliant barricades before you finalize the rental order.
Explore Party RentalsBounce Houses & Kids' Parties
Inflatables are prohibited at Centennial Center Park without a City permit, and district parks set their own approval and insurance rules. In a backyard, ask the provider about anchoring, power and the space each unit needs.
Explore Inflatable RentalsAmphitheater & Community Events
The Centennial Center Park amphitheater is reservable for performances and larger gatherings. Stages, generators and sound beyond 25 feet need City approval, and the City notes that using the amphitheater's 800-amp electrical service requires a licensed electrician.
Explore Stage RentalsPhoto Booths & Celebrations
Graduation and anniversary parties often add a photo booth or backdrop. The Bluff Pavilion has electricity, but confirm outlet locations and keep cords off paths, and plan battery power where outlets aren't available.

Planning an Event in Centennial?
Centennial became a city on February 7, 2001, after 77 percent of voters approved incorporation, and it sits in Arapahoe County just south of Denver. It was built on a contract model: the City contracts for many services, the Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office provides public safety, and special districts provide services like fire protection. That structure carries over to event planning, because the permit you need depends on which agency controls the site.
Parks are the clearest example. The City works with South Suburban Parks and Recreation, the Arapahoe County Recreation District, Trails Park and Recreation District and the Smoky Hill Metro District, and together they offer more than 100 parks, but the City owns only a few itself, including Centennial Center Park, Cherokee Trail Park and Parker Jordan Centennial Open Space. Before you book rentals for a neighborhood park, find out which district manages it and ask for its rules on shelters, tents, inflatables and sound.
Centennial Center Park, the City's 15-acre park off Arapahoe Road next to the Civic Center, has been open since 2012 and has five reservable areas: the amphitheater, Bluff Pavilion, Coffee Shelter, Large Shelter and Plaza. The Bluff Pavilion holds up to 100 people, rents for a two-hour minimum and comes with nine picnic tables, electricity and two grills. Without a City permit, park rules prohibit tents larger than 25 square feet, inflatables, stages and platforms, vehicles in the park and amplified sound audible more than 25 feet away. Even with a permit, staking into the lawn or pavement isn't allowed; only above-ground tie-offs or weights the City approves, and the City can require a diagram controlling delivery, setup and placement.
Private property and streets follow other rules. The City's Temporary Use Permit covers temporary uses of private property and temporary structures, and tents on its site plan need a Commercial Temporary or Accessory Structure Permit. For a block party, submit a street closure request at least three weeks ahead; barricades must meet federal (MUTCD) standards, and cars, cones and trash cans can't serve as barricades. The City notes that large tents may need a separate permit from the local fire district, and South Metro Fire Rescue, which serves Centennial, permits tents over 400 square feet.

Centennial Event Rental FAQ
Who manages my neighborhood park in Centennial?
It depends on the park. The City owns only a few, including Centennial Center Park, and works with South Suburban Parks and Recreation, the Arapahoe County Recreation District, Trails Park and Recreation District and the Smoky Hill Metro District for the rest. Reserve through the agency that manages the park and follow its rules.
Can I put up a tent at Centennial Center Park?
Shade awnings and umbrellas up to 25 square feet are allowed if you remove them when you leave. Anything larger needs a City permit, and approved structures must use above-ground tie-offs or weights, since staking into the lawn or pavement isn't allowed.
How many people fit at the Bluff Pavilion?
Up to 100. The reservation includes nine picnic tables, electricity and two grills, with a two-hour minimum, so larger groups usually add rented tables and chairs.
Do I need a permit for a block party in Centennial?
If you're closing the street, yes. Submit a street closure request at least three weeks ahead. Barricades must meet MUTCD standards, emergency vehicles need access between closure points, and approvals are shared with the fire protection district and the Sheriff's Office.
Can we serve alcohol at an event in Centennial?
At Centennial Center Park, alcohol needs a City permit, applied for with the reservation. A public event that serves alcohol needs a Special Event Permit, and Colorado law (C.R.S. 44-5-102) limits eligibility to organizations such as nonprofits and civic, religious, athletic and political groups.
